Marketing Programs Manager

This is an excellent opportunity for a "roll up the sleeves" marketing expert to take their career to the next level and help revolutionize the way small business manage the daily operations of paying bills and getting paid. We are seeking a highly motivated, tactical, results-driven B2B marketing programs manager who will thrive in a fast paced environment.

This position is both creative and analytical in nature. To be successful, you must have a solid understanding of B2B marketing concepts, very strong written and verbal communication skills and a passion for selling financial solutions to small businesses. In addition, you must be able to create effective, visually appealing, professionally crafted sales collateral and marketing communications tools. You should be proficient with Powerpoint, Excel and other marketing related tools. You must understand and be a proponent of a "Test, Measure and Refine" process. SMB experience and online marketing experience is ideal.

Strategic Responsibilities

  • Conceive, develop, and execute marketing programs designed to increase Bill.com awareness, increase signup activity, increase conversions, and support the growth of the Bill.com Network
  • Measure, report and analyze results of all marketing programs. Recommend optimization that achieves improved ROI
  • Work with development, product marketing, business development, PR and other teams to successfully plan and coordinate marketing programs in support of new product launches

Tactical Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute demand generation and nurturing programs including long-term email nurturing programs, newsletters, special offers, etc.
  • Evaluate marketing campaigns by testing messaging, creative, test cells, list definition, landing page creation and using back-end tracking
  • Develop and execute partner marketing programs, including managing Bill.com presence on partner marketplaces
  • Drive trade show presence
  • Develop marketing content and collateral to meet program needs

Skills and Experience

  • BA/BS Degree required, MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred
  • A minimum of 3 years successful experience marketing to small or mid-sized businesses
  • Ability and willingness to conceive of new programs (strategic orientation) and also be self-reliant to execute programs
  • Understanding of online marketing and social media
  • Strong writing, analytical and business marketing skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Powerpoint, Excel
  • Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Flash, Dreamweaver a definite plus
  • Ability to perform ROI analysis and identify tactics for constant improvement
  • Experience with Salesforce.com (usage and configuration) a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented and highly organized with the ability to handle multiple-tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated with a high level of initiative and a sense of urgency
  • Passion, passion, passion for delivering results and driving internal and external customer success
