Bill.com Hires Top Business Development and Marketing Talent

Carol Glover, Senior Vice President of Business Development and Lisa Lang, Senior Vice President of Marketing, Join Bill.com Team

PALO ALTO, CALIF. — September 28, 2011 —Bill.com, the leader in integrated bill payment, online invoicing and cash management solutions for businesses, today announced the appointments of Carol Glover to senior vice president of business development and Lisa Lang to the position of senior vice president of marketing. The two key hires each bring more than 20 years of experience to their roles and both will report to Bill.com CEO and founder René Lacerte.

Carol brings more than 20 years of business development experience creating industry-changing partnerships in the small business marketplace. Prior to joining Bill.com, Carol served as vice president of business development for PayCycle, helping the company grow revenue from $1.6M to $32M through major partnerships with banks and software firms.

Carol also has held executive business development positions with John Harland Company, where she was instrumental in developing partnerships with leading accounting software providers and office supply retailers, including Intuit, Sage, Office Depot, Microsoft, Staples and others. As vice president of sales and marketing for Harland Business Solutions, she pioneered the private label referral concept in the financial software channel. This startup effort evolved into one of Harland's most successful businesses. Carol holds a bachelor's degree in Communication from Arizona State University.

Lisa Lang, Senior Vice President of Marketing
With more than 20 years of experience in corporate and marketing communications for major brands, Lisa joins Bill.com from another prominent Bay area team: the San Francisco 49ers. As vice president of communications and government relations, Lisa led the public approval process for the new proposed 49ers stadium and oversaw media and public relations, publications, fan outreach and the 49ers Foundation.

She has held top marketing communications jobs in the consumer software, telecommunications and publishing industries. Prior to the 49ers, Lisa was vice president of corporate and marketing communications at Intuit, the Mountain View, CA-based maker of Quicken and Turbo Tax software. During her five years with Intuit, she oversaw the successful launch of dozens of consumer and small business products, led the effort to establish the company's privacy policies, created a brand strategy and helped establish the Intuit Foundation. Lang is a graduate of Ohio State University.
