Finally, a Simpler Way for All Businesses to Make Their International Business Payments
I am pleased to announce Bill.com International Business Payments is now available to all Bill.com customers, and we’ve added significant new features and supported countries.
When we introduced the limited release last month, the response was overwhelmingly positive. Early users love that they can now handle their international vendor payments electronically with the same process and approval workflows they use for their domestic payments. Bill.com International Business Payments provides many other benefits including: saving fees on bank transfers, saving time by eliminating the need to enter information twice, and gaining more control over the bill pay approval process.
We have heard from delighted customers like The New Stack, a media company that helps developers and open source community across the world keep up with rapidly evolving technology.
“Using time-saving automated tools like Bill.com has enabled me to run operations for a business that spans the globe,” said Judy Williams, cofounder and operations manager. “Bill.com International Business Payments allows me to pay our bills in one place, sending payments to contractors in the U.S., Canada, Spain, the U.K. and more.”
Building on the success of the service, we’re continuing to add more features based on how our customers do business. In addition to mobile support through the Bill.com app on both iOS and Android, nine more countries are available, including China and India, bringing the number of countries we support to nearly 40.
As a part of this update, we are also making multi-currency support available. You can receive, process and pay invoices in different currencies and then sync accurately and seamlessly with your accounting software including Sage Intacct, NetSuite, QuickBooks and Xero.
Multi-currency support benefits SMBs because when U.S.-based businesses make payments in U.S. dollars, the overseas vendor’s bank converts the payment to the local currency, in some cases without any additional instructions from the vendor. SMBs may incur hidden costs associated with these U.S. dollar to local currency conversions.
