Approximately how many bills do you pay per year?
We pay hundreds of bills per year through the platform, and we cringe a little bit every time we see a vendor that does not accept e-payments. We use Bill.com as our primary tool for bill payments because we find it to be the easiest and fastest way for us to pay our vendors. Besides, utilizing e-payments through Bill.com is much more secure than writing physical checks that are subject to getting lost or delayed.
Why do you recommend using Bill.com for digital business payments?
For several reasons. First of all, the platform is easy to navigate and organize. Being able to schedule payments in advance so that our vendors know exactly when funds are due to hit their bank accounts is a big plus. Having internal control procedures is also an important feature that allows our AP team to put an approvals policy in place. Finally, organizing all invoices in one location in the cloud means that we have access to every invoice, from anywhere. Since our employees are scattered across the country and the world, using Bill.com is a no-brainer for our operations.
How are you using the Bill.com International Payment solution?
The vast majority of our bills are paid domestically. We utilize the international payments solution for payments to the UK and Australia. We can’t wait until the international payments solution expands to other currencies so we can use it even more.
Do you pay vendors in local currency or U.S. dollars?
We prefer to make payments to our international vendors in their local currency. Bill.com offers a competitive exchange rate and no wire transfer fee, making it much cheaper for us to pay on the platform, rather than from our bank. Our vendors are happy and we are happy. It’s a win-win situation.
How is Bill.com enabling your business growth?
Bill.com has been a huge partner for our business. Being able to streamline our payment process online has improved the efficiency of our operations team. It allows our employees to focus more on growing our business rather than spend time on the administrative task of paying bills. The platform’s sync feature automatically imports invoices into our accounting system, saving us time and eliminating the possibility of human error.
