Blog|2 min Named a 2020 Best Software Company

Bora Chung
BILL, Chief Experience Officer

We’re incredibly humbled and honored to be recognized by our customers and G2 as a 2020 Best Software Company, and I’d like to take this opportunity to share the two principles that guide our work today, and into the future.

We’ve always worked to champion small and mid-sized businesses, as they are the lifeblood of our economy. We know how tedious the accounts payable and accounts receivable process can be, and we want to enable our customers to spend more time focusing on the reason they opened their doors in the first place.

Our mission is to make it simple to connect and do business, and along with these two principles, it informs every decision we make, every goal we set, and every new feature we release.

Principle #1: Always put the customer first

First and foremost, we listen to our customers closely, carefully noting the challenges, inefficiencies, and sticking points they face on a daily basis. We design, prototype, and build based on their real-world experience and personal feedback. We always strive to release the capabilities they need to stay focused on their business, do their best work, and succeed.

And in a challenging time when success looks and feels much different than it once did, we’re working especially hard to support our customers and the broader business community as they navigate new hurdles—including an abrupt shift to working remotely, or a significant decline in revenue.

Principle #2: Always practice gratitude

The advantage of the cloud and flexible, collaborative software has never been more clear. These solutions are proving instrumental in helping businesses, workplaces, and schools maintain their operations, and we’re thrilled to have a spot on G2’s list of Best Products for Finance.

We're humbled by this distinction and appreciate our customers for recognizing as an essential tool for managing the entire AP/AR process, especially during a time when businesses are leveraging tools which allow them to work remotely. It’s heartening and rewarding for our employees to know that the work they do is making a real difference.

As we move forward, rest assured that we’ll remain committed to our mission and these principles, and that we’ll work tirelessly to create the best possible experience for you and other customers.

Thanks for your continued business and support, and be well.
