Three new ways for midsize businesses and accountants to bolster control over cash flow with BILL

Midsize companies face very specific challenges in today’s economic environment. As John Flora, SVP of Product Management at BILL puts it, “Midsize companies move fast and can’t afford errant payments, unauthorized spend, or manual, complex workflows that slow their progress. To navigate these challenges, they need better control over their payments and cash flows. That’s why we are pleased to announce that there are now three more important ways that midsize businesses and accountants can address these needs with BILL—thanks to two new capabilities for BILL customers on NetSuite and expanded support services.

  1. Three-way matching for NetSuite, that provides more control and visibility into purchase-to-pay workflows.
  2. Spend and expense management integration with NetSuite, that improves control over card spend, with the ability to limit future spending.
  3. Live BILL phone support, that gives midsize companies and accountants more control over their time.

More details on how BILL’s new capabilities offer midsize businesses and accountants enhanced control:

1. Financial control: Three-way matching for NetSuite

With three-way matching, businesses will have greater visibility and control across their purchase-to-pay workflows. Purchase order and item receipt details are automatically synced directly from NetSuite to BILL and can be viewed alongside invoices in a single BILL workspace. With automatic matching across the three documents in one tool, businesses will be better able to control spend and reduce payment errors.

According to Courtney Smith, Accounting Manager at aboutGOLF, “The new three-way matching capability has reduced our time spent on AP by up to 75%. We have better control of our finances, and our team can finally do the forecasting and analysis that we didn't have the time to complete before.”

2. Spend and expense control: BILL Spend & Expense integration with NetSuite

BILL Spend & Expense’s integration with NetSuite, built using the Oracle NetSuite SuiteCloud Platform and now listed on the SuiteApp marketplace, will help users control their spend and expenses by automatically syncing customers’ BILL Divvy Corporate Card transaction data directly to their NetSuite account. This integration can increase efficiency and remove the burden of manual reconciliation.

3. Time control: Live BILL phone support

BILL customers can now contact our customer service through live chat or phone as part of our standard service offerings. With this new phone support service, finance teams can quickly and directly get answers to questions and resolve any issues. And with built-in authentication, users can easily connect to a live support advocate without having to repeat information.

These updates are critical to helping our customers save time and focus on what matters most to their business. Live support is available Monday through Friday, 5 am - 6 pm Pacific Time, excluding holidays.

Extending the capabilities of the BILL + NetSuite integration

BILL’s expanded product offerings with Oracle NetSuite extend the capabilities of NetSuite to help joint BILL and NetSuite customers run their businesses more efficiently. Three-way match will be available to NetSuite customers in 2022.
