Cookie Notice

Effective Date: January 20, 2023

This Cookie Notice explains how Bill.com, LLC and the Bill.com, LLC family of companies, including DivvyPay, LLC, Invoice2go, LLC, Cimrid Pty Ltd, and Finmark Financial, Inc. (along with its affiliates, successors, and assigns, “BILL”, “We”, “Us”, or “Our”) and BILL’s authorized third party partners use cookies and similar technologies (which include pixels, tags, web beacons, software development kits (“SDKs”) and local browser storage technologies) (together, “cookies”) when You visit Our websites and mobile apps. It explains what these technologies are and why We use them, as well as Your rights to control Our use of them.

Capitalized terms not defined in this Privacy Notice have the meanings given to them in BILL’s Terms of Service.

  1. WHAT ARE COOKIES

A cookie is a small file which is created by a website and stored on Your device. Cookies often contain a string of numbers and letters that uniquely identifies Your device, but can contain other information. Cookies serve many different purposes, including to help remember Your preferences or allow Our Services to function. Cookies may be persistent or stored only during an individual session.

  2. WHAT KINDS OF COOKIES DOES BILL USE

We use different types of cookies, and they are assigned to one of the following categories, depending on their function and intended purpose:

    • Strictly necessary cookies enable You to navigate our Website and to use the Service. These cookies are necessary for the Website to function and cannot be switched off in our systems. They are usually set in response to actions made by You which amount to a request for services, such as setting Your privacy preferences, logging in or filling in forms. You can set Your browser to block or alert You about these cookies, but some parts of the Website will not then work.

    • Functional cookies enable our Website to provide enhanced functionality and personalization, such as remembering Your language and currency preferences. They may be set by us or by third party providers whose services we have added to our pages. If You do not allow these cookies then some or all of these services may not function properly.

    • Performance cookies collect information about the use of Our Website and application, and enable us to improve the way our Service works. For example, performance cookies show us the most frequently visited pages and analyze site traffic. We use them to analyze broad trends and patterns of usage on our Website, rather than to monitor the usage of any particular individual. We use third-party service providers, including Google Analytics, to analyze the use of our Website. You can opt-out of the use of web analysis at any time either by downloading and installing a Browser Plugin offered by Google or by configuring Your browser to delete and reject cookies.

    • Social media cookies collect information about Your visits to our Website, but only when You are logged in to Your social media account(s).

    • Marketing cookies track browsing habits and are used to deliver targeted (interest-based) advertising. You can opt out of receiving interest-based ads for web properties here (Digital Advertising Alliance’s WebChoices).

  3. MANAGING COOKIES

Most browsers are set up to accept cookies automatically. You can deactivate the storing of cookies or adjust Your browser to inform You before the cookie is stored on Your computer. Some browsers have “Do Not Track” features that allow You to tell websites not to track You. These features are not all uniform.

If You reside in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, or Utah, please refer to the US State Supplemental Privacy Notice for more information about opting out of tracking for targeted advertising purposes.
